This digital download features 21 Interactive Notebook pages on World War 2 and the Cold War. These creative, engaging Interactive Notebook pages include graphic organizers, creative foldables, timelines, and more!
This page on the Cuban Missile Crisis features a "missile" and map of Cuba graphic organizer that students cut out and fold to create interactive notes for a lesson on the Cuban Missile Crisis.
On one side, students describe America's perspective of seeking security and Kennedy not wanting to allow long-range ballistic missiles so close to the US. On the right (or east) side, students take notes on the Soviet Union's perspective (US missiles in Turkey, Cuba asking for protection, etc). Finally, in the center students take notes on the cause, situation, and result of the Cuban Missile Crisis.
It can actually be downloaded as part of two different bundles: (1) in this Cold War and Civil Rights Movement Interactive Notebook Pages or (2) in the World War 2 and the Cold War Bundle depending on which one best suits your curricula!
